Who won the ratings war? The Voice or The X Factor…

And the winner is…

The Voice! The Voice took in a few million more viewers on Wednesday night when the two shows went head to head. Both shows were down in rating from their last season premieres. So what does this mean?

The Voice’s blind auditions are still unique in comparison to the other singing competitions out there. The X Factor really is no different from American Idol except that the auditions are in an arena and are performed with music as opposed to being A cappella in a small room. With that said, I’m surprised that The Voice out performed X Factor considering the star power it was touting. I mean there is no one bigger than Britney Spears and Demi Lovato has the hottest one of the hottest songs in the country right now. With that said The Voice has some major star power too!
