I agree with you! I feel like they could of done a little better than Shakira.

‘The Voice’: Shakira And Usher To Replace Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green As Coaches For Fourth CyclePosted: September 18, 2012 in Uncategorized

Probably the most exciting single to hit the pop charts this year. With a hard techno dance beat mixed with slow jam groove and X-Tina’s powerful unrivaled vocals, this is cleary a must listen to! The track was produced my non other than pop hit maker Max Martin. I feel like Christina went to the right guy for her first single. He helped produce Britney’s number one single Hold It Against Me and some of her other biggest hits! Are you loving it or what?
It is great that you can see the beauty in this family when most people can’t. I think Kendall and Kylie actually have hearts after they surprised Bruce with the signed jerseys and meeting him at the Olympics.
I actually believe it! Mariah is definitely a diva and Nicki Minaj seems like she doesn’t play. I hope Mariah can put her ego aside for at least one season. So excited to have Nicki on Idol!
I am so sad to see Christina taking next season off but I guess I should be happy she will be promoting her new album. I think Usher is perfect to replace Cee Lo because he is relevant and could use the exposure. I am not excite about Shakira but hopefully she will surprise me. I think Idol has The Voice beat when it comes to new judges!
When those chairs swivel around this winter on The Voice, contestants will be looking at two new faces — and at least one pair of hips known to speak the truth.
R&B star Usher and Latin pop goddess Shakira will replaceCee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera as coaches on Cycle 4 of the NBC singing competition, scheduled to air in early 2013.
Lest you think the network is saying “Forget You” to one half of its coaching panel, NBC assures Voice fans that Aguilera’s and Green’s absences are project-related. The former is about to launch a tour in support of her new album Lotus, and the latter is working on new music and developing a sitcom based on his life for the Peacock Network.
The other coaches, Blake…

Now that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have jumped ship, American Idol has scrambled to fill the vacant chairs the stars left behind. Personally, I think it is kind of disappointing that they both are leaving after only two seasons. Both have received, Jennifer most notably, huge boosts in their popularity since signing on. It made them both relevant again and it upsets me they are taking the money and running. But whatever we don’t need them!
They just announced that Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban will be the new judges and I have to admit that I’m not hating this line up. I’m most surprised that Nicki is in considering she is tearing up the charts and doesn’t need a career boost in my humble opinion. Keith Urban was somewhat of annoying choice for me, just because he’s not on my radar but after the success of Blake Shelton on The Voice it does make sense. I find it incredibly interesting that Idol is using the four judge panel this time around. I don’t know if they are copying X Factor and The Voice or just hoping that at least two of the new judges stick around. They have had four judges before, but I am excited to see the interaction amongst these new judges. Read more about it at the link below.
Starpulse-Ryan Seacrest Reveals American Idol Judges: Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj And Keith Urban
This week’s premiere of the X Factor had some great auditions and some really great raw talent, which was surprising considering all the horrible auditions we had to endure. There were also some auditions that the judges loved that I particularly didn’t care for. So these are my top four favorites! Click on the names to watch the performances.
1. Jennel Garcia
Jennel takes the top spot because she was a completely and utteryly surprise. She was sweet and adorable; she was so happy go lucky I almost dismissed her before she hit the stage. She proved me and probably a few others wrong. She ripped into a great rendition of Grace Potter & the Nocturnals’ “Paris (ooh la la)”. This was actually the first time heard the song but she totally owned it and made me lover her! I hope she makes the finals!
2. Carly Rose Sonenclar
Carly would have definitely been my number one choice if Jennel had not come along. This 13 year old has the voice of 20 year veteran and her audition was as close to perfection as you can get.
3. Jillian Jensen
Easily one of the most memorable of this week’s performances. I think we can all relate to Jillian’s pain and I loved the realness and intensity of her performance. Although she was shaky and emotional, you could really hear the power of her voice.
4. Jason Brock
Jason was a hot mess but in the most amazing way. I had no idea what to expect from him but he really shocked me and apparently Simon as well. His voice is so beautifull and I would love to see him go all the way to the end.
